The Mason County Parks and Recreation Commission has developed a draft Recreation Plan. The plan evaluates existing recreation opportunities, reviews public opinion regarding parks and recreation, and proposes a five-year action plan, and other related items that the county wishes to pursue. The draft will be reviewed at a public hearing with the Parks and Recreation Commission on at 7:00 pm on Monday, January 14, 2008, at the Mason County Drain Commission office in Scottville. The drain office is located at 102 East Fifth Street, Scottville, MI, 49454, (231)757-9366.
